BFSA: Empowering Scholars and Leaders
Description
Behind every graduation, academic honor, and step into leadership are years of effort from people who offer encouragement along the way. The Black Faculty and Staff Association (BFSA) at The University of Alabama brings students, faculty, and staff together to recognize that work and support continued growth.
Your gift helps sustain programs that mark important milestones. The Nyansapo Kente Robing Ceremony celebrates graduates alongside the families, friends, and mentors who supported their journey. Harold Bishop Honors Day and the Black Scholars Program recognize academic achievement and develop leadership skills encouraging students to continue pursuing their goals.
Your support also creates opportunities beyond these celebrations. BFSA Ambassadors further develop students’ leadership through service and involvement on campus. Professional development and wellness programming give faculty and staff opportunities to share knowledge, strengthen their skills, and connect with colleagues.
These experiences are part of what makes BFSA a source of connection and support across generations of the UA community. Your contribution helps us sustain these traditions as we remain "Tide" together.
