School of Social Work 1965 Legacy Scholarship
Help the 1965 Legacy Scholarship Fund Reach its Endowment Goal!
As the University of Alabama School of Social Work celebrated its 60th Anniversary in 2025, the School proudly introduced the School of Social Work Endowed 1965 Legacy Scholarship. Established in honor of this historic milestone, the scholarship provides financial assistance to students pursuing a social work education by helping offset expenses such as tuition, books, supplies, room, and board.
The Endowed 1965 Legacy Scholarship reflects the School’s enduring commitment to preparing future social work professionals who are dedicated to advancing human rights, equity, and social justice. Through this scholarship, the School seeks to support and empower students whose academic and professional goals align with its mission of creating positive change in individuals, families, and communities.
By investing in the next generation of social workers, the School of Social Work continues its legacy of excellence, service, and advocacy that has defined the program since its founding in 1965.
