Crimson Racing Crowdfunding Campaign
Crimson Racing is The University of Alabama's Formula SAE team. Each year, our team of over 200 students designs, manufactures, and tests a formula-style race car to compete against other schools from across the globe in a competition held by the Society of Automotive Engineers. Crimson Racing provides students with hands-on engineering experience, real-world problem-solving skills, and opportunities to grow as leaders.
In recent years, Crimson Racing has experienced tremendous growth and success both on and off the track. At our most recent competition in Michigan, the team placed 8th out of 120 teams and earned the Cummins Sustainability Award for our efforts to give back to the community, continuing our tradition of finishing among the top programs at the collegiate level. At the same time, our organization has grown to over 200 active members, pushing the limits of what we can achieve through collaboration, innovation, and dedication.
Your donation to Crimson Racing not only helps us build race cars, it also serves as an investment into each and every one of our students’ education and development. Last year we surpassed our crowdfunding goal of $12,000, allowing us to fund competition travel and meals, purchase subsystem spare parts and hardware, and invest in much-needed new driver gear.
Crimson Racing couldn't exist without donations like yours, and we are forever grateful for your continued support.
