Investing in the next generation of cyber security professionals is critical to our nation's national security!

The University of Alabama Capture the Flag Cyber Security Competition, also known as UACTF, is a Jeopardy-style capture-the-flag (CTF) competition that exposes middle and high school students in the United States to computer science and cyber security topics and allows them to develop their interests before they enter college. Through UACTF, students are provided with opportunities to collaborate, learn, and have fun while solving exciting cyber security challenges! Since its inception in 2019, we have strived to keep UACTF free because we believe that ALL students that want to compete should be able to participate, regardless of their economic situation. UACTF keeps growing every year, and we want to make sure that we are able to provide this unique opportunity for all middle and high school students in the country.
