SkiBama is The University of Alabama's Collegiate Water Ski Team. Each year, our student-run team competes across the country in three-event collegiate water skiing: slalom, trick, and jump. SkiBama offers students the opportunity to train at a world-record capable water ski lake, form lifelong friendships, and develop leadership skills that extend well beyond the lake.

Despite receiving no academic scholarships for recruitment, SkiBama has built a legacy of excellence competing with heavily funded programs across the nation. We have placed in the top five at the NCWSA Collegiate National Championships for fifteen consecutive years, with eight SkiBama athletes earning individual national titles along the way. At the same time, we have expanded our program to welcome beginners, growing a vibrant and supportive team environment, all while maintaining a highly competitive A-team that ranks among the best in the nation.

Your donation to SkiBama does more than fund tournament travel, equipment, and training. It is an investment into the development of every student-athlete on our team, providing opportunities to compete at the highest level, gain real-world leadership experience, and prepare for future success both academically and professionally.

A donation of $50 will be directly put towards purchasing new team equipment such as skis, life jackets, ropes, or a helmet.

A donation of $100 will be directly put towards our A-Team travel gear. We plan to have a uniform jacket and pants to wear for our travel to and from Regionals and Nationals.

A donation of $250 will be directly put towards funding the repairs for our boat lift. Our team boat lift, which was generously donated by a former Skibama skier's parents has recently experienced significant damage and needs repair.

A donation of $500 will be directly put towards our trip to San Diego for Nationals. This money will be used for hotels, rental vehicles, food, drinks, and any miscellaneous travel expenses for the team as a whole.

A donation of $1000 will be directly used for the purchase of our new MasterCraft in August. We regularly undergo about a $10,000 deficit in the sale and purchase of our boat each year.
