THANK YOU for supporting the UA Early College Blackbelt Communities Endowed Scholarship!
UA Early College offers high school students a head start on their college education. By participating in college-level coursework while still in high school, these students learn to navigate the demands of higher education, develop essential academic skills and gain the confidence needed to excel in their future endeavors. Through this program, students don’t just prepare for college; they start their legendary journey, cultivating a sense of responsibility, resilience and a passion for lifelong learning.
Many students in Alabama's Black Belt communities face significant barriers to accessing higher education. Financial constraints can make it difficult for talented and motivated students to pursue their academic aspirations. To address this, we established the UA Early College Black Belt Communities Endowed Scholarship. This fund can assist students from the Black Belt with UA Early College tuition and books, and tuition or housing costs associated with the Summer On Campus program
We are launching a crowdfunding effort to complete the endowment of this crucial fund. Your generous donation will help break down the financial barriers that prevent deserving students from this region from realizing their full potential. To further amplify the impact of your contribution, the Office of Teaching Innovation and Digital Education will match the first $3,000 given, effectively doubling the power of your gift.
Your support can create a brighter future for these students, empowering them to achieve their dreams and become the legends they are destined to be. Together, we can cultivate success and make a lasting impact on our community.
