Crimson Racing is a student design team at The University of Alabama, participating in the Formula SAE competition. Formula SAE challenges teams of university undergraduate and graduate students to design, develop, and compete with formula-style race cars. Crimson Racing gives students the chance to demonstrate and prove both their creativity and engineering skills while growing as leaders. Since its inception, Crimson Racing has successfully competed at both FSAE Michigan and Lincoln, placing 5th overall at the Michigan International Speedway just this past year. The move towards electric vehicles provides students with an invaluable opportunity to grow their skillset further and prepare them for the exciting and changing trends of industry.
